It’s TGS time folks!

This year’s TGS sounds like it’s gonna be a cracker. We have a keynote NOT being done by a Japanese person in the industry or infact from the 2 Japanese platform holders, Sony and Nintendo. It’ll be infact done by an American company and the other platform holder, Microsoft and John Scheppert.

What are we expecting from his keynote late tomorrow morning (Early hours of Thursday morning)? We know there will be a big announcement concerning the new Halo 3 expansion but what else?

Possibly a date for the NXE (New Xbox Experience), some new stuff, maybe an announcement from Square Enix about Final Fantasy XIII coming to the 360 in Japan as well as other stuff. Oh, and dont rule out a megaton, the games industry has learnt this since E3.

But what else are we expecting?

We’re gonna keep our beady little eyes on Sony, Konami and very much so on Square Enix. Sony have up to 14 new games coming to the PLAYSTATION 3, 9 of which are first party and exclusive to the PLAYSTATION 3 as well as a exclusive from Konami – is it a new Metal Gear (imho, I hope not) or is it (imho, I FUCKING HOPE SO!) Zone of the Enders 3?

And of course, this is most likely where, at long last, Team ICO will make their long awaited bow to the PS3 with their next project. We hope there will be some screens and a trailer because it’s been nearly 4 years since Shadow of the Colossus so we really want the next Team ICO game.

As for Konami, we’ll be keeping an eye on them for what that one PS3 exclusive is (hopefully, it’s a Kojima game and it’s Zone of the Enders 3) but we’ll try and get some Metal Gear Online related news and keep you up to date with the MGO World Championship’s which take place at TGS.

And as for Square Enix, this could be the blowout everyone has been waiting for. Final Fantasy XIII being rumored to come to Japan on the Xbox 360 but also a new trailer (which is released publiclly) and screens, the game can be said for Final Fantasy Versus XIII for the PLAYSTATION 3.

Also, we’re gonna keep with Star Ocean: The Last Hope for the Xbox 360 and The Last Remnant for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3, infact, the TGS trailer is going on our YouTube channel right now so look out for it when we finish.

But as much as we want some juicy info to come out of those games, in particular Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII, we’re keeping our eyes on a lookout for one game and one game only.

Kingdom. Hearts. III.

It’s pretty much the reason we’ll be stalking whatever info that comes out of Square Enix’s butt during TGS so hopefully, Sora and crew will be back with us…but will it be on the PS3 or 360? We asssume it’s gonna be the PS3 as the main canon games have been on the PlayStation since it’s debut on the PS2 but hey, you never know, E3 made us like this.
