SCEE has confirmed to GOONL!NE that a u-switch has occured in the English dub situation for the game and that yes — there will be a patch that includes the English dub for the game, most assumingly at launch. It comes after it emerged this morning that all European versions of the game, bar them in the UK, Portugal and Russia, would not get the English dub at all.

This is what Sony have had to say.

“Following feedback from the community, we realise that there is a strong demand for English language on the Dutch, French, German, Spanish and Italian version of inFamous. To remedy this situation, we will be providing a patch shortly, which will add English language to the game. As soon as the patch is ready, we will ensure that everyone is informed.”

Well, there we go, all’s well that ends well. Game’s out on May 29th in Europe.
