Sony’s announced a brand new DLC expansion incoming for Wipeout HD, known as “Fury”.

It will add 8 new tracks, 13 ship models and 3 new game modes (2 specfically for online) as well as new trophies, new front end for the game and improved multiplayer. The news should be of great relief to Wipeout fans who bought the game when it came out last September.

And according to Tony Buckley, the game director for Wipeout HD:

And what’s more, it is set to be given its first public showing at this week’s E3 expo, so if you’re lucky enough to be attending, make sure you stop by and try it out!
