E3 2009: MEGATON!: Gran Turismo 5 Shown

Polyphony Digital has finally shown Gran Turismo 5 to the world for the first time. What was shown wasnt a teaser, as Sony put it at their press conference, it was a full blooded trailer. It has NASCAR, it has the World Rally Championship (the first time thats been in a game since the exclusive PS2 games) and, after 11 years of bitching, it has damage.

Yes, damage!

It was shown after Polyphony’s studio head, Kazunori Yamauchi showed Gran Turismo Mobile for the brand new PSP! Go, due at the PSP! Go’s European and US launch of October 1st.

2010 is when GT5 is due.
