E3 2009: Konami Confirm an All Platforms Release for Rising

Konami’s just announced at their media briefing that Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be released on all next-gen platforms, thats PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 as well as PC. The teaser, shown at the Microsoft press conference on Monday was shown during the event.

Hideo Kojima announced earlier during a Famitsu interview this morning that he wont be directly working on the game, that honor goes to Ken Imazumi of Kojima Productions who was originally meant to be project lead on Metal Gear Solid 4, insisting that he will be directly involved with the PSP game, Peace Walker. Kojima did however state he will be producing Rising.

So there you have it.
