Gran Turismo 5 to Be Previewed in OPM UK Next Month
The new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK magazine is hitting subscribers now and it has some decent features, a 11 page feature on Modern Warfare 2 as well as 8 page features of Assassins Creed 2 and FIFA 10. But the most interesting of all: Gran Turismo 5 next month.
No, we’re not kidding. Gran Turismo 5 is gonna be previewed next month in the next issue of OPM. As to what this preview is all about, we dont have a clue. Just that the game will be previewed next month according to the next month feature of the magazine.
The game was revealed last Tuesday at Sony’s E3 press conference.
We look forward to it. In the meantime, get the review scores for the issue after the jump. Ghostbusters, Demon Souls and Prototype got very good scores, but what were they?

Yo GT5 was revealed at E3 2005, again at E3 2006 and 2007.

2005 – Vision GT (what PD had in mind for GT5, but not quite GT5)
2006 – Gran Turismo HD (A small, small teaser of GT5, but again, not quite)
2007 – Gran Turismo 5: Prologue (Nearly… but…)
2009 – Gran Turismo 5 (GT5, HOORAY!)

I’m gonna have to agree with Jonathan here.
People seem to be mistaking all the other GT’s this generation for GT5.

I was really surprised to hear about GT at E3 this year. One second polyphony’s saying “we’re finishing prologue before working on GT5″ and GT mobile will be made “as soon as we’re done working on GT5″. Suddenly GT mobile’s coming around in 3 months and we’ve got a full preview coming on 5 next month. who’d a thunk it…?

i wish they would just release the game already.
its pathetic how long its takeing them, now forza 3 comes out and says its bringing everything GT5 has and more by october.
thats the problem with sony they take forever to do things, i thought they would of lernt there lesson with home but looks like they have a hard head.
announce something 6-12 months max before its ready to release, that way it wont cop to much flack and become the new DN forever.
there constantly comming out announcing games for this year than come september oops there set back to next year ohwell better luck next time its getting realy annoying.

If it’s going to be previewed next month, I’d say it’s ready for release. This is great news, I’ve been waiting a very very long time for this. I bought my PS3 the day it was released in 2007 just so I could play GT5. 2 years and it looks like it’s finally here!

The reason they use so much time on the game is to make everything as “perfect” as possible. And Forza 3 looks just like the other game, just with bad “in-car” view.
