BREAKING: Driver Coming to PSN Next Week

On an official statement released yesterday, which seems to have flown under the radar, on the Ubisoft website, it’s been announced that the original Driver which was released on the PlayStation 1 will be released on the PS Store next week for £3.49 (It says E4.99 but all games on the English PS Store are £3.49)

Driver for the original PlayStation was a huge hit on the original PlayStation® and remains a classic. Soon you can relive those gaming memories, or enjoy it for the first time, on PSN for PlayStation®3.
Driver puts you in the driving shoes of Tanner, an undercover cop tasked with infiltrating an illegal syndicate through his impressive driving skills in a variety of cities across the globe.
Developed by Ubisoft Reflections, Driver is due for release on PSN on August 14th for €4.99. Keep an eye out for it!
The PS Store also gets updated today with Driver coming next week. Ubisoft are also working on the next verison of the Driver series for the PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360 after Ubi bought developer and creator Reflections as well as the rights of the series from original publisher, Atari after the previous 3 games, Driv3r for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, Driver: Parallel Lines for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox and Driver: 1979 for the PSP, didnt do too well.
