Internet superhero TedtheDog has some more grim news about the release of PlayStation Home beta codes: there won’t be any today.
He states that the problems were, once again, down to the mailing process which delayed the process of emails going out on Friday, Monday and now, today.
He did state that they should be sent by tomorrow.

You gotta love Sony sometimes, their straight forward no nonsense talk may get them somewhere someday. However, when we spoke to them about a certain date, we didn’t love them.
GOONL!NE got in touch with Sony to confirm if Killzone 2 would indeed be given a February 20th date like we mentioned on Friday but all we got was a “No Comment”, joy.
PlayStation Home will be out by the end of the year and will infact be out in time for Christmas.
Thats according to two people in the know, internet superhero and Home community manager TedtheDog and the English Community Team Leader, MusterBuster.
TedtheDog gave a vital update to the Home invites which were meant to be sent out on Friday before being delayed until Monday due to a email problem but even then, the problem didn’t exactly go away and the emails will now be sent on Tuesday.

Again its not everyone, for those who dont get an invite Open Beta will be here before Christmas.
A beta tester for Sony has revealed to GOONL!NE that the NDA, or Non Disclosure Agreement, for PlayStation Home is now officially history.
It now means that all beta testers for Home, be that either beta testers brought in only for Home, full time beta testers for Sony and MVP’s can now openly talk about the service which will be out by the end of the year.
2008 has been a fantastic year of gaming but what does 2009 hold in store. We have Killzone 2, Resident Evil 5 and more to name but a few and they are our nominees for the Most Ancipated Title of 2009.

Everybody loves a game which has proven itself but what about a new game which the platform holders and developers alike take a risk to have on their console. Ifi t fails, it’s the end of the road for them but if it’s successful, it could be the start for them.
And thats why they are nominated for Best New IP.
It’s not just 1st party games which decide the outcome of consoles but it also hinges on 3rd party support, exclusive or not.
And thats why these games, exclusive and not exclusive, are nominated for the Best 3rd Party Game.
Senior Sony Execs hit the town yesterday to pain the town red… okay, thats slightly made up but they did go out yesterday to attend the Sony Computer Entertainment Annual Staff Briefing and there was some juicy stuff that came out of it according to D+Pad.
During the conference, it was said that the PS3 will recieve a price cut within the next 6 months from March 2009 where it’s believed to be tied in with the launch of Killzone 2 on Februrary 20th. As well as that, David Reeves, the president of SCEE, was on stage where he announce that SCEE was the money maker of the 3 SCE brands of SCEE, SCEA and SCEJ.

While 3rd party exclusivity is practically dead, every console needs a game from their own lot which they know will sell alot.
And that is why these 4 have deserved their nomination for Best 1st Party Game of 2008.
