CliffyB: Gears of War 2 Will Be Better Then Resistance 2

Now, for anybody who has a 360, anybody’s 360 collection can not be complete alongside Halo 3, Mass Effect and Call of Duty 4 without a copy of Gears of War. Its story was great and it’s 4vs4 multiplayer was absoutely brillant, one of the best multiplayer games I enjoyed last year along with Team Fortress 2.
And now, on November 7th, Gears of War 2 will ship exclusively to the Xbox 360 with the continuing saga of Marcus Fenix against the Locust with 2 player online co-op also returning for the story mode, 5 man co-op mode where you take on an unlimited amount of locust which get harder and harder with each horde and finally, 5vs5 multiplayer.
But at the exact same time (Maybe even in the exact same week), there is another big hitter coming out on the PLAYSTATION 3 which is Insomniac’s Resistance 2. Both games came out shortly after each other and while the Xbox 360 had an established userbase by nearly a year, the PLAYSTATION 3 only came on the market in America a week after the release of the game.
Now, 2 years later, both these sequels will go head to head once again with both consoles now able to stand on their own two feet. But even then, Lead Designer at Epic Games, Cliff Bleszinski says that Gears of War 2 will be better then Resistance 2.
How?
On Resistance 2:
Man, I think that competition is always positive, and bearing in mind that my game is better (laughs). I know and am friends with Ted (Price of Insomniac Games), but I must say that despite being a good attempt, the quality falls short of the Gears of War 2.
Hmm…we’ll see which is better come November, gentlemen.

I definitely adore my playstation 3. It is a fantastic instrument with so many fantastic games that have come out of late, not to mention that it plays blu-ray. If they keep on releasing great games and adding services such as netflix I don’t see why anyone would choose any other system.
