Is PlayStation Home Finally on it’s Way? US PS Blog Seems to Hint That Way

On a blog post on the PS Blog just hours before the PS Store updated in the US, it was severely hinted that the open beta of PlayStation Home is on it’s way to both the US and the UK. In the US, it was announced that a PlayStation Home theme would be released in last night’s update (Which it was) but for anybody who downloaded it, it means that they will now be elligable to be picked ot enter the expanded beta of Home when it does expand at the end of August.
But there is a criteria to be met, more on that after the jump.
As part of the criteria, as well as downloading the theme, you must be on the PSN very often and must be a resident of the US & Canada plus a bit more which wasn’t mentioned in the post.
So, any Europeans out there, I bet your feeling sad right now? WIPE THOSE TEARS, YOU BIG PANSY!
The blog post also stated that SCEE are going to be sending out emails soon to people concerning the expansion of the European closed beta of PlayStation Home beta. Thats because a few weeks ago, SCEE on the European Community Forums were looking for Beta Testers at the 2nd week of July.
It is now the 2nd week of August which now means it has been a month since the recruitment process began (Of course, it’s been long closed again) but SCEA did state on that post that SCEE were going to send out emails very shortly.
Could we hear something at Leizpig if them emails arent sent out beforehand? Almost possibly on the evidence of this post.
