Leipzig 08: Fifa 09 Demo Coming September 11th for PS3, Xbox 360

At their their press conference today at Games Convention in Leipzig, EA announced that a demo of Fifa 09 will be coming out for the PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360 and PC on September 11th.

As well as that, a new feature for the game was announced called Live Season, more after the jump.

It’s a premium feature which people must pay for to use but EA has said it will be free for the 2008/2009 football season with 6 leagues involved. We assume the Premier League is one of them.

As well as Live Season, 10vs10 play was shown in action as well as a expansion on Be a Pro which was created on the last Fifa, Fifa 08.

In it, unlike where you could play a player from any other team (Ronaldo or Rio Ferdinand if you wanted to play for Man Utd) from Fifa 08, you can create a player from scratch and take him on for a couple of seasons to help him improve as a player.

It all sounds good but can it beat Pro Evolution Soccer 2009? Me being the Fifa fanboy, I believe so but we’ll all find out when the demo comes out on September 11th with the game out October 5th on every console possible.

Did I mention that Wayne Rooney and Ronaldhino is on the box again?
