Amazon UK have announced that Red Dead Redemption is their most pre-ordered title this year, with the game currently holding three of the top five positions in the Amazon.co.uk video games bestsellers.

“This is undoubtedly the most hotly anticipated video game of the year so far,” said Chris Poad, Director of Video Games at Amazon.co.uk Ltd. “Demand has risen significantly over the last week as excitement and buzz around the game has built, making it one of the most successful titles we have seen on Amazon.co.uk this year before it has even been released.”

Red Dead Redemption, released tomorrow (Friday 21 May 2010) is Amazon.co.uk’s biggest selling pre-order video game so far this year. The game currently holds three of the top five positions in the Amazon.co.uk video games bestsellers chart for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PS3 limited edition versions on pre-orders alone.

Red Dead Redemption for Xbox 360 and PS3 are currently priced at £34.99 at Amazon.co.uk. The PS3 limited edition version is currently priced at £49.99 and the Xbox 360 limited edition version at £54.99 at Amazon.co.uk.
