Metal Gear Solid 4 Special Edition Confirmed
Konami Europe have confirmed in a statement this morning that a special edition of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be released in Europe, nearly a week after David Reeves announced a MGS4 Playstation 3 bundle at Playstation Day.
The special editon will have the game (obviously) as well as Metal Gear Online 2 plus a figure of Old Snake, The Making of Metal Gear Solid 4 on Blu-Ray, a box of artwork by re-known lead artist on the Metal Gear Solid series, Yoji Shinkawa and the OST of Metal Gear Solid 4, all coming to *cha ching* £79.99.
Now, normally when Special Editions are this much, I just go “Fuck off, ain’t paying that much” and thats what my thoughts were this morning…but, c’mon, its Metal Gear Solid 4, it’ll be an injustice to not get the special edition considering that while Metal Gear Solid 4 is a direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the Playstaion 2, it was Metal Gear Solid 2 that got me into Metal Gear Solid so it’d be a severe injustice.
