Uncharted 2 Revealed
Sony has taken off the wraps of Uncharted 2 with the game called Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
The game was revealed earlier this evening with a teaser trailer on GameTrailers and the reveal of a big feature on Game Informer’s next issue.
In the trailer (which will be uploaded onto our YouTube channel soon), it shows Nathan Drake walking through what must be 3 – 4 inches of snow saying:
“I suppose I should have quit when I was ahead. But what is it they say? Fortune favours the bold? Right… lucky me.”
Nathan looks very rough in the trailer as well.
The game will have a free climbing gameplay mechanic as well as stealth gameplay. The story for the game is live this. Nathan Drake returns in a story which revolves around Marco Polo, the 13th century explorer who has treasure out in the arctic which Nate is keen on. There is no word yet if Elena or Sully will return in the game, all we seen in the trailer was just Drake.
As well as that, Game Informer magazine in the US has a big feature of the game in their next issue and have posted the cover on their website.
And as well as that, a post on the PS Blog has shown up describing more on the game.
I have a distinct feeling that many of you might have been expecting that this day would be coming real soon … Today, we’re beginning to reveal more about our next project here at Naughty Dog – Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

Our VGA ad will also premiere on the air tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2, at 9:25 PM during UFC Unleashed on Spike. Oh yeah, that means we have something much bigger lined up …
The world premiere of our first trailer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves!
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will properly debut during the Spike Video Game Awards (VGA’s) on Sunday December 14th (Thats Next Sunday, not this Sunday, Next Sunday) and will be out on the PLAYSTATION 3 sometime in 2009.
