Yaster, one of the moderators at the Official PlayStation Community, has posted that PSN will be undergoing maintenance
tonight from 1700 BST – 2100 BST, with access the PS Store, Account Management and Registration pages being unavailable to users for the first 45 minutes of the maintenance.

However you’ll still be able to log-in to the Network (assuming you have done so previously on the PS3/PSP you’re using) and play online.
