RUMOR: ShopTo.net Selling inFamous Special Edition

Come May 29th, you’ll be getting inFamous for two reasons.

1 - It’s inFamous
2 - The Uncharted 2 beta

But how does a special edition sound in being your 3rd incentive? Thats because ShopTo.net are apprently selling the special edition of the game for £39.99. The special edition includes:

  • Special ‘celebratory’ digipack packaging
  • Includes an artwork book
  • Includes a PSN promotional code giving players a bonus super-power in the game

We’ve asked Sony for comment, we should hear back on Tuesday when the bank holidays are over.

Uncharted 2 Beta NOT Exclusive to Play.com

Sony has said to several websites, including GOONL!NE, that the Uncharted 2 beta is not exclusive to Play.com and will be included with inFamous at several retailers. More details are incoming from Sony very soon, but for now, we’re off to cancel our pre-order with Play.com.

It was announced this week mutliplayer would be coming to Uncharted 2, we also announced the news that the beta would be out in Europe as well.

Assassins Creed 2 - First Direct Feed Screenshots

The first direct shots of Assassins Creed 2 have been released from Ubisoft. You can find them at MondoXbox for your eyes to glaps upon.

The screens are from the Game Informer scans we had up before them nasty lawyer people forced us to take them down.

inFamous - Brand New Trailer

Well, eventually, better late then ever. We got the new trailer of inFamous, ready to zaptise you after the jump. It’s after the jump, out on May 29th for PS3 with a Uncharted 2 beta code in each copy for the UK apparently.

Mistwalker Announce Feel for Wii

Earlier in the week, we brought news that Mistwalker had a new project in development and they had already shown it behind closed doors, but what was it?

Lost Odyssey 2? Blue Dragon 2? A unlikely joint project with Square Enix? Nope, a horror game called Feel for the Wii. It’s being co-devloped by MW and Ju-On who are known as survival horror gurus in Japan, having made the original version of The Grudge.

CONFIRMED: UK Gets Uncharted 2 Beta in the Form of inFamous

Play.com seems to have snagged the exclusive rights of having the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta, but how? Because they have and they’re putting it in every copy of inFamous on the site.

Codes will be distributed before the beta begins. Thats all, its pretty much bare after that.

The multiplayer for the game was announced this week, while inFamous was confirmed for a May 29th release this week
