Kojima More Involved in Rising Then Previously Thought
Hideo Kojima’s confirmed that he’ll be alot more involved in Metal Gear Solid: Rising then previously thought. Beforehand, Kojima was only meant to be Producer on the game and handle Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker on the PSP solely. But now though, it seems as if he is taking on the game alot more then thought, according to Dengeki (via Eurogamer).
I’ll be working more deeply on the project then a normal producer.
However, he does insist on letting the new and upcoming talent of Kojima Productions to do most of the development work on the game. And he will still lead the development of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. It was confirmed over the weekend that Rising will use a new engine for the game instead of using the Metal Gear Solid 4 engine.
It was announced at E3 2 weeks tonight for PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360.
