GOONL!NE has it on good authority that Lost Planet 2 could still be coming to the PS3, thats if a recent preview from the newest issue of OPM is anything. We dont have any info from the preview so far, but we have info incoming to us shortly.

Capcom have only confirmed the title so far for Xbox 360, but we are gonna leave a comment with Capcom to see if this is just jumping the gun or if it’s something else.

Lost Planet 1 was a Xbox 360 exclusive when it launched in early 2007, but a PS3 version was released a year later in early 2008.

More soon.

GOONL!NE has recieved some new info on Modern Warfare 2, which appears in the new OPM and confirmed by an OPM subscriber who alerted us to the Final Fantasy XIII playtest.

The info is as follows:

+ Brazil and Russia are confirmed to appear in the game, with Rio de Janerio in the game. Europe will also appear, most likely in Russia as well.

+ Remember how the Russians were involved last time in Call of Duty 4? They’re involved again, but they are a totally different group to the one in MW.

+ US Navy Seal’s are involved in the game in some retrospect.

+ The game will have civilians around in some area’s of the game during firefights. Unknown if you can actually shoot at them.

+ There will be new multiplayer perks, one of which involves faster movement.

+ There will be types of vehicles, including possibily a playable helicopter.

The game is properly previewed in the next issue next month.

Review scores are after the jump, inFamous gets reviewed also. Bolded scores are PS3 games.

MAG will have a beta.

Oh yes it will.

Thats according to a video interview from the PS Blog and studio head of Zipper Interactive, Michael Guttman.

Certainly, Mag will definitely have a beta.

I guess that’s probably all I’ll say at this point, but we’ll be getting more information about that very soon.

“We’re really excited about the beta and we want to make sure that it’s designed and set up to be the great experience you expect it to be.

Catch the video interview after the jump. The game’s out on PS3 this Fall.

1 vs 100 Beta Coming This Month

Posted in Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , on May 5, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

xbox-360

The Canadian Xbox website has shown an advertisment showing a upcoming beta for 1 vs 100 for this month.

The game, announced at E3 last year as part of the NXE and NXE channel, Xbox Primetime, the game is based on the popular game show, shown on BBC 1 in the UK. The beta will start this Friday and goes on until May 24th, but only in Canada.

To get in the beta, you must live in Canada (liek duh!), be 18 and be a Gold member.

The beta isnt available elsewhere right now, but the site does mention it’s out this Spring, but we’re checking with MS right now to see if this is coming to Europe at least. But for now, its time to break out onto song…

Fallout 3: Broken Steel Now on Xbox Live Marketplace

Posted in Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , , , on May 5, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

fallout-3-broken-steel

The Major’s confirmed that the final piece of Fallout 3 DLC, Broken Steel, is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace for 800MS points.

You may have dealt the Enclave a serious blow at Project Purity, but their forces are still out there, and still pose a grave threat to the people and security of the Capital Wasteland. In Broken Steel, you’ll continue your current Fallout 3 character past the events of Project Purity, and work with the Brotherhood of Steel to eradicate the Enclave threat once and for all. You’ll travel to new locations like the Olney Powerworks, wield destructive new weapons like the Tesla Cannon, fight powerful new creatures like the Super Mutant Overlord, marvel at the destructive power of Liberty Prime, earn new Perks like the devastating Nuclear Anomaly… and play Fallout 3 all the way to level 30!

But apparently, while nothing to do with us, it’s not looking too good for Fallout 3 owners on Games for Windows, it’s not working right now. So are you reporting any problems with your downloads? Let us know in the comments below or email , and we’ll pass on the info to Bethesda.

Note: this is only for Xbox 360 owners of Broken Steel.

Keighley: Megaton Game “already announced”

Posted in E3 2009, Nintendo Wii, Other Gaming, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , on May 5, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

megaton

I dont know how we honestly seen this earlier.

So, Geoff Keighley mentioned a game of meagton worthy in his Twitter that will be at E3, so you’d assume it’s a new game right? Wrong, it’s a one.

The game I mentioned is announced – no big surprise, but I love it has a “megaton” powerup.

So, what is it? Modern Warfare 2 or Mass Effect 2? One of them two, we reckon.

Final Fantasy XIII to Be Out a Year within Japan Release in West

It’s coming to Japan this year for the PS3, we know that much, and we also know it’s coming to the Xbox 360 in Europe and North America sometime after it with the PS3 version, but when? “Within a year” according to producer, Yoshinori Kitase.

In an interview with Videogamer, he states:

Obviously we would like to release it over here as soon as possible. Traditionally the Final Fantasy numbered series, it takes about half a year between the release in Japan and the release in North America, and another half a year before it’s released in Europe. But we would like to minimise this, this time.

He’s also confirmed that recording for the English dub for the game is now under way:

For example we have already started recording English voices, and also the text localisation has been in progress, too. Normally we complete the Japanese version first, then move on to the US and EU versions, but this time there are some tasks that are happening simultaneously. So this time we’re hoping to release sooner than a year later than the Japanese release.

Considering they’re now doing the dub for the English version, development on the Xbox 360 version must be under way by now.

megaton

GTTV presenter Geoff Keighley has hinted as a game for E3 which smells of megaton.

Oh yeah, we said that.

Nothing much else was said in the , other then:

Just played a game for E3 with a “megaton” powerup.

We wonder what it is? All shall become clear at E3, eh?
