Qore Subscribers to Get Uncharted 2 Beta

uncharted-2-1American? Qore subscriber? Have a PS3? Looking forward to Uncharted 2? Dont wanna buy inFamous? Your in luck, the next issue of Qore will have a Uncharted 2 beta token for you to get your hands on, but only if your already a subscriber.

All existing Qore subscribers will also receive a special voucher via e-mail allowing them to join the UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves multiplayer Beta on June 3. Everyone who becomes a new Qore subscriber on or before May 15 will also receive the Beta invitation.

Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection Announced

gears-of-war-21Microsoft have announced that Gears of War 2 has sold over 5 million units worldwide and to celebrate the news, they’ve announced a brand new versions of Gears 2 as the “All Fronts Collection”. It will contain the game, plus all DLC map packs and title updates included so far, and 7 brand new maps as well as a missing campaign chapter in a pack known as Dark Corners.

The maps are:

  • Allfathers Garden
  • Memorial
  • Sancuary
  • War Machine
  • Highway
  • Way Station
  • Nowhere

The campaign chapter is called Road to Ruin, where Marcus and Dom go through the Locust hollow, which can be played with guns blazing or using stealth. If you already have all map packs and title updates, Dark Corners will be available day and date for 1,600 MS points, but All Fronts will be available on disc for only £14.99.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Orange Box deal for 2009. If you havent got this game already, you’d need to with this deal once it comes out worldwide on July 28th.

VidZone Announced for Release This Summer

VidZone, the music service announced last year at Game Convention in Leipzig, has now got a date: Summer 2009. We asked for a specfic date from Sony, but they couldnt give it to us. VidZone is an app which runs from yoru PS3 and lets you watch music videos from the app, with all major labels signed up for the service.

Great, time to hog some Radiohead!

SCEE Announce Ghostbusters as a PS3 Timed Exclusive

SCEE have announced that Ghostbusters: The Game will be exclusive to the PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation 2 for a timed period. SCEE will publish the PS3, PS2 and PSP versions of the game, but Atari insist that the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii versions are not canned and will still come out at a later date.

Incase you dont know, Ghostbusters was a Columbia Movie Studios IP and Columbia is owned by Sony Pictures, see the link here? Anyways, the game will be out on June 19th, the same week the Blu-Ray version of Ghostbusters comes out, marking the 25th anniversary of the movie.

But no confirmation has been made yet if it’s the same for SCEA or SCEJ, but we’ve asked Sony and Atari for comment.
