Gears of War 2 gets a 9/10, Mirror’s Edge gets a 9/10 and now this.
OPM UK has seen fit to give Tomb Raider: Underworld a 9/10.

OPM #25 (December 2008) – Here Are The Review Scores [PS UK Forums]
Looks like all the hard work EA and DICE has put into Mirror’s Edge has paid off.
OPM UK gave the game a 9/10 in the world’s first review of the game in the next issue of the magazine which is hitting subscribers this weekend with a lucky few getting theirs already.
We asked EA if we can get a review copy, no reply yet.
I shall follow up with them next week.
The game is out on the PS3 as well as Xbox 360 on November 14th.

The new issue of the Official Xbox Magazine came out today in the UK and it has the World’s first review of Gears of War 2 giving the game a 9/10 like they did with Gears of War before it 2 years ago.
Thats all there is to it.
Famitsu have released brand new direct feed shots of Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
And with all due respect to Versus XIII… XIII looks amazing.

Yes, it’s finally here.
Friday October 24th 2008: Super Friday.
It may have lost a bit of it’s glitz and charm with the delay of LittleBigPlanet but Super Friday is still Super Friday for a reason.
It’s the biggest one day release of games this year with over 3 AAA titles being released. EA’s Dead Space for the PLAYSTATION 3 being one of them but the main two games out today being…
Far Cry 2 from Ubisoft for the PLAYSTATION 3 & Xbox 360 and Fable II by the legendary Peter Molyenux and Lionhead Studios, exclusive to the Xbox 360.
And here’s an ironic fact for you.
Hadn’t LittleBigPlanet got delayed, Lionhead Studios would also have gone up against several former employees at Media Molecule, namely Alex Evans, Mark Healey, Kareem Attoney and David Smith, all Lionhead vets and the founders of Media Molecule.

Don’t forget peeps, tomorrow is Super Friday!
It’s the biggest one day release of games this year and while quite frankly there are a couple of stunners in there, it’s just not the same without LittleBigPlanet.
But anyways, there are some cracking titles in there, 3 AAA titles including Dead Space but the 2 we’re keeping an eye on is Fable II and Far Cry 2.

We’ve put up the US TV Ad of Motorstorm: Pacific Rift on our YouTube channel but it’s after the jump.
It’s out on the PLAYSTATION 3 on November 7th. Gameplay wise from the demo, it’s good but saleswise, up against Gears of War 2 on the same day and LittleBigPlanet on the same week, it’s fucked in honesty.

2K just sent us over the direct feed trailer of BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams and it’s up on our YT channel.
Of course, you could just watch it after the jump. Oh and it’s in glorious HD.
The game was revealed last week by a user on N4G who finished the PS3 verison of the game to find the trailer in the extras of the game. It’s out sometime next year for the Xbox 360 and PLAYSTATION 3.
