Posted in Famitsu, Magazine Scans, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , on June 24, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

Magna Carta 2UPDATE: False alarm, it is a misprint.

We just got the scans and it shows the game as an Xbox 360 game, but not as a PS3 game. So rule it out we’re afraid. But them scans are after the jump.

Original Story: We’re still sketchy on the details as this has just come out, but the new issue of Famitsu has a feature which shows that the once Xbox 360 exclusive Magna Carta 2 is coming to PLAYSTATION 3. It is however still coming to the 360.

So far, the only proof we’ve seen of it is that it shows in the index of the magazine according to several translations that have already come out, but we are promised scans of it soon, so check back soon and we’ll update when we get them.

In the joblisting, plucked by PS3Center, it shows that Mm are taking on a Gameplay Programmer for said title.

Media Molecule Ltd; a new independent studio working on a ground-breaking, AAA, PS3 title for Sony Computer Entertainment is currently expanding. We’re after exceptionally talented programmers who have the ability and passion to really ‘own’, and drive key areas of our game’s code base.

But is it LittleBigPlanet 2? Nah, not yet anyways.

Rockstar: We Havent Officially Given Max Payne 3 a Date

Posted in PlayStation 3, Rockstar Games, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , on June 22, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

Max Payne 3Did you have October 30th down on your calendar for Max Payne 3?

Scribble it out now, it aint coming then. GOONL!NE has been told by Rockstar Games that the game wont be coming out at that date, given by Play.com and discovered on a fanrun PlayStation blog. When the blog contacted Play, they said that it was given to them by R*.

Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding the release date of Max Payne 3. Please be advised that the release date for this item, currently scheduled for 30/10/09, has been given to us by the developers of the game.

But when we went to Rockstar about it, a rep for the developer simply stated to us that they hadnt given the game a date yet.

We have not given Max Payne 3 an official release date as of yet, so the date advertised on Play is not one given by us.

It comes back off the heals of Play.com giving a November 27th date for Gran Turismo 5, but SCEE point blank told us that a date for the game had still to be confirmed. So there you have it, a lesson to be learnt from this and GT5: dont trust Play.com for dates to game
