E3 2009: Watch Sony’s E3 Conference in Home on Tuesday

home

If your not in the mood to watch Sony’s conference via a computer, or read our livetext on Tuesday (traitor), there is one other way to keep an eye on things during Sony’s conference on Tuesday: watch it in Home. Content producer for SCEE, James Gallagher has said on the new EU PS Blog:

You will be able to watch the SCEA press conference in Home, in a new space called the Presentation Podium. We’re still waiting for confirmation of when.

I know quite a few of you have been asking this question, so apologies for not replying to every one – busy times!

So, problem solved. You will be here though for the livetext, not Home, you WILL be here.

Oh well, we tried.

E3 2009: Mass Effect 2 Release Brought Forward to 2009

Posted in E3 2009, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , on May 29, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

Mass Effect

So, Mass Effect 2.

It’s one of the game’s we’re keeping an eye on next week during E3, it’s the one game we’re so excited for here at GOONL!NE. It even got a pre-E3 teaser this morning, and now BioWare has seen fit to publish online a Facebook group for it’s upcoming game, which you can .

But at the bottom of the page, it shows details for the game and the last bit shows a release date, which is nothing as it was already pegged at 2010, until you see it’s down for late 2009. Oh hell yeah! We’ve left an email with EA to see whats going on.

There’s also been confirmation as to how you can play Mass Effect 2 if you never played the first:

New to ME? Don’t worry, we’ll give you a new character in Mass Effect 2 and bring you up to speed on the story.

E3, next week, we’re going to town on this bad boy. It’s an Xbox 360 exclusive, released… 09 or 10.

E3 2009: RUMOR: Team ICO Coming to LittleBigPlanet

Posted in E3 2009, PlayStation 3 with tags , , , , , on May 29, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

Team ICO LBP

If this concept art after the jump is to be believed, we could be seeing a joint project for LittleBigPlanet concerning Team ICO. The team’s latest project, trICO, was leaked last week in a trailer and screens, but now it looks like they could be involved with LBP too. It shows Yorda and the horned boy from ICO.

As well as that, the concept art in question is actually also confirmed to have been made by Media Molecule.  Media Molecule are known fans of Team ICO, having said in their debut podcast that they are looking forward to whatever the project maybe that Team ICO are doing. Interesting to say the least, needless to say, we’ve contacted SCEE on the subject to see whats going on. Catch the incriminating concept art after the jump.

It’s SCEA’s E3 conference on Tuesday, this, and trICO, could be there.

E3 2009: Bethesda Announce Brink – First Trailer

Posted in E3 2009, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , on May 29, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

Brink

Bethesda and Splash Damage have announced Brink.

It’s a shooter set in a “utopia gone wrong” type of situation, which also involves “the Ark”. Have they been watching a show were a plane crashes on an island? Oh wait, we’re thinking Lost. Still, this is starting to come towards that “more questions then answers” scenario, but the first trailer may answer a question or two at least.

It’s out Q1 next year for PS3 and 360. Get the trailer after the jump.

E3 2009: Bayonetta – E3 2009 Trailer

Posted in E3 2009, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , on May 29, 2009 by Jonathan Cullen

bayonetta

You know it’s E3 when big publishers, like SEGA, send out emails linking you to their E3 trailers days before the show even begins. In this case, we’ve just been dropped the Bayonetta trailer for E3 2009 and my god, does it look hot!

Devil May Cry, the sexy hot Sarah Palin like main character, Bayonetta, is gonna eat you alive from this evidence. Catch the trailer after the jump, its out this Autumn for the PS360. This comes from Platnum Studios, who brought us the fantastic but sadly slightly undersold Madworld for the Wii.
