UPDATE: When we contacted SCEE about Jason’s tweet we were told, “The release date for PlayStation Move has not been confirmed yet but is due to launch this Autumn.”
Jason Bradbury, who most of you will know from The Gadget Show on Channel Five, has revealed a potential release date for PlayStation Move.
On his he said, “Sept for PlayStation Move!!! I’m sure of it. Can’t say why. Just.. September 2010.”

Portal free on Mac and PC for a limited time

To celebrate the launch of the platform on Mac’s, Portal is free of charge. Simply go to the Store page, click the Portal banner and add Portal to your library of games at no cost.

Metro 2033 Ranger Pack DLC

THQ have released details on the forthcoming DLC for Metro 2033.
The pack adds some new weapons, new achievements and the ‘Ranger Mode’ reduces ammo available to you weapons cause more damage, and to add to the difficulty, say good bye to your HUD.
The new guns are the Heavy Automatic Shotgun and the Volt Driver, Miller’s signature gun. The new achievements bring an extra 250 Gamerscore to Metro 2033.
The Ranger Packwill be released on both Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Steam in the near future, with pricing to be confirmed closer to release.

Ubi have released a new video showing off the acrobatics you can expect to be performing in the new Prince of Persia game.
The game launches which launches on all formats from May 20th, and in our eyes the stunts here look as good as anything we’ve seen from AC II.

4 player co-op coming to Bad Company 2

EA have today announced a first for the Battlefield series today with the new DLC coming for Bad Company 2.
Onslaught mode will allow players to team up across 4 multiplayer maps which have been specially designed with teamwork in mind to help defeat the enemy AI.
“We’re thrilled to bring something new and fresh to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 while still keeping Battlefield’s signature gameplay intact,” says Patrick Bach, Senior Producer at DICE. “We want to consistently support the over 4 million fans playing the game with new ways to get into multiplayer and also challenge the elite players with new experiences to improve their performance online. Effective squad play is the key to success in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer and this new mode will provide players with a dedicated environment to test their team skills and rank against the competition.”
BioShock 2 Metro Pack DLC now available

The second wave of BioShock 2 has been announced by 2K and is available now on 360 and PS3, with it at a later date on PC.
The new DLC costs 800 Microsoft Points and £7.99 from PSN and adds 6 new multiplayer maps to the game.
A free Kill’em Kindly pack was also released along with a Character pack, full details of which you can find after the break.
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood revealed

It hasn’t been that long since Assassin’s Creed II graced our screens, and Ubisoft have today released details of the follow up to last years title.
Ezio again will be our main protagonist as we follow him in his battle against the Templar Order.

Nintendo 3DS to get new name

Speaking to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has stated that the official name for the new Nintendo DS will be revealed “in the not so distant future.”
At a recent financial briefing, Nintendo president Satoru Iwata was asked about the 3DS name and whether or not it was the final name for the handheld. Iwata responded with “Since we’ve stated that it will go on sale during the present term. I think the formal name will be made public in the not so distant future.”
Keep your ears open for an official naming at E3 in the summer.
