A Wii port of the original Modern Warfare coming for World at War developers Treyarch, who get possesion of the main IP for the next game in the series, as Acti confirmed this week.

Supermarket Price War Begins On Modern Warfare 2 At Sainsbury’s

With Sainsbury’s cutting the price so drastically, expect Tesco and ASDA to do the same with their launches of the game this week. The price had been rumoured to have been cut by various sources but with this receipt, we can pretty much confirm it.

First Look At Skate 3

The White Stripes, Kasabian Coming to Rock Band Next Week

This is the first time either band has been involved with the game, although the third time Jack White has been involved, as his side projects The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather has been in the game for a while.
White Stripes songs include Icky Thump, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground and Girl You Have No Faith in Medicine. Kasabian’s involvement sees them use Club Foot from their self-titled debut album.
The Damned will also be involved with “Smash it Up”.
The DLC is out on Tuesday for XBLMP and Rock Band Shop for the Wii, and on Thursday for the PS3. PR after the break.
Beta Code for FFXIV with Copies of FFXIII

The scans show Hope’s summon and what Chocobos look like in this cannon FF, but the big revealation comes at the end of the article, where it is revealed that a beta code for the beta of Final Fantasy XIV will be included in the game at release on December 17th.
No word yet on the platform, but obviously you have to say it would be the PS3. That said, it would be a contradiction of what Square Enix said before by saying the beta would be a PC only affair.

Posted in Nintendo Wii with tags Metroid: Other M, Nintend of America, Reggie Fils Amie, Super Mario Galaxy 2 on November 6, 2009 by Jonathan CullenSpeaking in the latest GameTrailers TV, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils Amie has reafirmed that Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M will be coming next year.
Both games were announced at the company’s E3 press conference back in June. Galaxy 2 is the first time two 3D Mario games have appeared on the same Nintendo home platform.
“We’re in the middle of finalising the game,” revealed Shigeru Miyamoto, who was speaking on the game.
“The idea is that we’ve created almost entirely new courses for Mario Galaxy 2, the courses we added, some new new abillties for Mario and the goal is to take the system and the gameplay of the original Super Mario Galaxy, and turn it into something thats a little bit more expanded and offers a great deal of challenge for people who enjoyed that first game.”

RUMOR: First Teaser for Kane & Lynch 2 Released

It shows CCTV secruity footage of goings on in a Chinese restruant, with one of the two getting attacked by the dog.
The game has been known to be in development for agood while, with the first game recieving medicore reviews back in 2007.

Japanese Hardware and Software Charts: Bayonetta Pushes PS3 Sales

Bayonetta comes out on top in the software charts for the PS3, while the 360 version lands in 7th. And thanks to it, the PS3 sees a better push this week and higher sales then previous weeks, although still falls short to dethrone the DSi from top spot in the hardware charts.
