NPD have released the final numbers of the year with their results for the month of November 2008 and surprise, surprise, Nintendo rules the roost again.
The Wii sold over 2,000,000 million units (yes, that is right, two million!) while the Nintendo DS sold just over 1.5 million units which means combined, they make up 3.5 million units sold for Nintendo in November.
Meanwhile, on the HD console front, the Xbox 360 won on that front as well as the Software charts overall. The 360 sold just over 835,000 units all thanks to the worldwide launch of Gears of War 2 which won the Software charts with the game shipping over 1.5 million units sold.
