CBS not best pleased at Dante’s Inferno Super Bowl advert

Posted in EA, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360 with tags , , on February 3, 2010 by James Love

Dante’s Inferno is no stranger to controversy having offended people from the church through to the INA. Now US broadcaster CBS are the latest to have issue with the game, this time over their Super Bowl advertising campaign.

Originally the ad featured a tag line telling viewers to “Go to Hell,” reasonable enough in the context of the game, however CBS pulled that advert to replace it with one that ended with a nicer message, simply “Hell Awaits.”

More rumours surface of a Mass Effect 2 PS3 launch

Posted in EA, PlayStation 3 with tags , on February 2, 2010 by James Love

The rumour of Mass Effect 2 on the PlayStation 3 is like a very bad smell, it hangs around for a long time, much like BioShock did before it.

Now, Polish website Kiko have unearthed more evidence to support an eventual PS3 version of BioWare’s epic in the source code of the game, with the last two lines of it mentioning the PS3.

Whether this points to a cancelled version of the game for PS3, an actual release that is planned further down the line or pure coincidence we can only speculate at this point, but fingers crossed for an eventual reveal of the game going multiplat on consoles much like the GTA DLC did recently.

For those of you interested, you can find the code after the jump!
