RUMOR: Modern Warfare 2 Features International Space Station

Posted in Activision, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 with tags , , on October 18, 2009 by Chris Hawke

Modern Warfare 2

has just shed light on what could be a very interesting development. On the Call Of Duty Wiki page, under ‘Levels’, it lists the International Space Station.

“International Space Station – During E3 2009 Build some press members saw a level named “International Space Station”, but Robert Bowling didn’t want to show this level (when asked to show this level he reportedly stated “Ah you saw this…” and played a different level instead).”

Does this mean you’ll be shot into orbit to the ISS and take down some baddies there? We wouldn’t put it past Infinity Ward…

Rockstar: No More Grand Theft Auto IV DLC

Posted in Rockstar Games, Xbox 360 with tags , , , , on October 17, 2009 by Chris Hawke

Ballad of Gay Tony

The Ballad Of Gay Tony will be the last piece of GTA IV DLC.

Thats according to Rockstar’s Jeronimo Barrera, speaking in the latest episode of GameTrailers TV.

“This is it, [we're] calling it quits [and it is] time we move on,” said Barrera.

So that’s the end of Niko and friends in Liberty City.

The last piece of DLC, The Ballad of Gay Tony, is released on October 29th, either on Xbox Live or with a retail release with The Lost and Damned in Episodes from Liberty City.

Take your pick.

New Pokemon Game Announced for the Wii

Posted in Nintendo Wii with tags , , on October 17, 2009 by Chris Hawke

PokePark

Nintendo have announced yet another Pokemon game, but this time, for the Wii. The happy little critters called Pokemon are kept by humans, petted heavily, and forced to fight to fainting point, yet still the RSPCC overlook this.

The games have usually appeared on the Nintendo DS, but PokePark Wii will come with full waggle control, and feature Pikachu roaming around a huge, varied park (filled with Pokemon, no doubt), battling them and competing in various minigames. Joy.

It’s out in Japan on December 5, with a North American release in 2010.

Thanks, 1UP.
