Posted in PlayStation 3 with tags , , , , , on September 23, 2008 by Jonathan Cullen

Good News and Bad News.

Good News (Nay, IT’S FUCKING GREAT NEWS!) is that beta codes of LittleBigPlanet are now available on Eurogamer.

Yes!

Bad News is that Eurogamer has died once again after the influx that was SOCOM: Confrontation.

We’re trying to get codes for anyways here anyways. They’ll be very few (At least 10) but we’ll try to anyways.

Bungie’s New Game IS a New Halo Game

Posted in Xbox 360 with tags , , , , , , on September 22, 2008 by Jonathan Cullen

You may remember that E3 conference from Microsoft where it had Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, Lips and Final Fantasy XIII but it also had a game which was meant to be there…a certain game fom one of the biggest gaming studios in the world, if not, the biggest gaming studio in the world, Bungie.

And before E3, they kicked off this big massive promotional campaign for it with weird post’s from the myserious ‘superintendent’ and when it came to E3, there was a 90 second ‘knock ‘em dead’ trailer set to be shown.

But needless to say, our great friend and bigmouth, Xbox boss Don Mattrick cancelled the unveil to an angry response from the internet.

And then states days later that Bungie were cool about it and were even laughing about it (Not according to Bungie, they weren’t laughing about it one bit) before spilling the beans to MTV Multiplayer that the new Bungie game was infact a new Halo game.

But now, it seems, the game is finally getting unveiled soon.

A new post from the superintendent came up on Bungie on Friday spilling the load of gobbledigook on the post. The full transcript of it is below.

They also posted a picture which was fuzy looking but it says ‘keep it clean’

We can now take that they will unveil a new Halo game soon…but when? Well, last week, we reported that a special MS event was due to take place in London with a new game from Rare as well as the said new Halo game but we havent heard anything since so we may consider that BS.

But notice how in the transcript, it says…

\ RECIPIENT: PROWLER “TOKYO RULES” [COMM.DUTY.OFFICER]

Now, I dont know about you, but this is severely hinting at a unveil at the Tokyo Games Show which starts in 2 and a half weeks from now, it also lines up with John Schappart’s keynote speech at TGS. If the game does get unveiled at TGS, it will be, ironiclly enough, be Schappart’s 2nd big announcement at a keynote of his this year after unveiling Gears of War 2 at GDC in February.

We’re gonna keep an eye on this one for now…very closely.
