This year has had some great games, you can admit that. What we won’t admit is that the gaming year has not big news this year because trust us, it has if you like it or not.
And the prime example of this is Final Fantasy XIII announced for the Xbox 360 but it isn’t just Final Fantasy XIII taking the spotlight. There are many more in the nominees and they are after the jump.

GOONL!NE can reveal that Sony has given the game a possible February 20th date for the game according to 3 big retailers Gamestop, Game and HMV.
Rockstar has formally announced Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and The Damned, the first of two exclusive DLC episodes, for the Xbox 360 to be released on Tuesday February 17th 2009.
No price was given but it will be forthcoming although it could be as high as £29.99 or in Microsoft Points, thats probably over 3,500MS points.
The press release we got also states that the main Grand Theft Auto IV is needed to play The Lost and the Damned.

Sony has kicked off a brand new ad campaign in Japan for the PLAYSTATION 3 and I have to admit, it looks awesome.
The campaign shows 3 people holding up aspects of the PS3 such as the console itself, a Blu-Ray disc and a SIXAXIS as well as 3 other posts containing gaming characters.

No, that is correct, this ad campaign is being spearheaded by Final Fantasy XIII on the PLAYSTATION 3. Do remember that the game is still a exclusive for the PS3 in Japan unlike here in Europe and North America where it will be coming to the Xbox 360.

4 months after it was announced and revealed at E3 2008, Microsoft has finally taken the wraps off and released into the wild the New Xbox Experience for the Xbox 360.
In most cases, when a developer is done with it’s game, it needs a publisher in 3/4 caes with a very rare self publication.
Thankfully, these 4 publishers have not only published great games this year but they have also helped out a fair deal on them.
