
Leading up to a potential reveal of the full breakfast on Tuesday at SCEA’s E3 conference, it’s been revealed that Gran Turismo 5: Prologue has sold over 3 million units worldwide, with Europe being the region of the most sold copies of the game at 2 million.
The exact total figure actually stands at 3.67 units worldwide. However, it aint stated if that includes hard copies and PSN copies together. The figures come from Polyphony Digital themselves, where it’s also revealed the GT series has sold a combined 52.37 million units sold.
The full worldwide figures list is as follows:
Worldwide total: 3.67 million
Europe: 2.16 million
US: 760,000
Japan: 650,000
Asia: 100,000

In probably the first report we’ve covered that’s from Nintendo before E3, Japanese newspaper Nikkei is reporting that there will be a new Mario game by the end of the year, alongside a new Wii Fit. Nikkei didnt state what the new Mario will be like, just stating the new Mario is on it’s way, the same for Wii Fit. However, unlike Mario, Nikkei did state one thing for the new Wii Fit: it would have internet features.
