RUMOR: Resistance 2 Dated for November 21st in Europe

Game.co.uk have put done a European date for Insomniac’s 3rd Generation PLAYSTATION 3 FPS game (Christ, thats long) Resistance 2.

The retailer has put the game down for November 21st in Europe which means it will be going on sale alot later then the American release date of November 4th or even the Japanese release date of November 14th. It also means that, if this is true, it wont clash with Gears of War2 for the Xbox 360 when it launches worldwide on November 7th.

Prepare to feel the wrath of alot of gamers, SCEE.

Xbox Live Back in an Hour

After being down for a day, good news people, Xbox Live is back online as of right now!

Just a quick note, baring in mind unless Microsoft wanna pull a fast one on us and actually put it up for download, the new Xbox Experience will NOT be available to download once Live is back but the maintenance was for when it does arrive.

8am better arrive soon, GRiD needs some Live ‘lovin!

Forums Coming Soon/LittleBigPlanet Situation

LittleBigPlanet in a mo but first off, a big announcement.

Back in the original concept of the site as Gamzsone V3, we were planning forums but we never got round to finishing them and opening them.

As of sometime in October/November, we shall be finishing off the forums and opening them for you to post in but you can still make comments here on the site.

Of course, there will be rules to be applied for on the forums, here and on our YouTube channel but they’ll be coming when the forums do.

LittleBigPlanet Beta Keys to Give Away

Okay folks, we have some great news.

We have LittleBigPlanet beta keys to give away!

We dont know how many we are giving away right now, our estimate’s are roughly 20 but realisticlly, we’re looking at at least 5 – 10.

We’ll let you know asap but if you want to get into the LittleBigPlanet beta, check back sometime tomorrow and we’ll let you know how many codes we have.

Bungie’s Halo 3 Project Something to Do with Campaign

Bungie’s mysterious teaser trailer for a Halo 3 project they are doing is now on Xbox Live Marketplace for you to download.

But there was something mysterious which GOONL!NE has discovered when the download finished. On the synopsis for the trailer of Marketplace as well as the trailer when it’s in your videos section, it states.

High action and deep mystery await players in this new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop.

Surely, it confirms the rumors of a campaign expansion and maybe of the episodic type like Half Life 2: Episode One, Two or Three ala Halo 3: Episode One.

If we know more, we’ll let you know.

Bungie’s New Project Revealed…WHAT THE FUCK IS IT! [UPDATE]

UPDATE: It has something to do with Halo 3 anyways, is this hinting at a new single player campaign for the game? We’ll soon see as one of the SI’s posts last weekend said Tokyo Rules so it’s hinting at a big announcement a TGS when John Schepart keynotes it in a week and a half. Video is after the jump.

Original Story: The countdown is over and now Bungie have released the first teaser trailer to…to…WHAT THE FUCK IS IT!?

Because the trailer doesn’t give anything away. I haven’t personally seen the trailer yet but right now, it seems to be indicating nothing at all.

Well, except it’s going to the Xbox 360 and that the video will be on Marketplace soon. If it has anything to do with Halo, it’ll be exclusive otherwise it’s a posibillty it could be a game going to the PLAYSTATION 3.

Burnout Paradise Trophys Out Now But Aren’t Retrospective

Good news PS3 Burnout owners (like me).

The trophy patch which will come hand in hand for the game digital’s release on the PSN today has now gone live for anybody who own’s the Blu-Ray.

Although it should be pointed out that they aren’t retrospective.

And alot of people over at Criterion’s forums are getting pissy about it.

You can go and look for that yourself, no way in hell am I posting a link to angry BP fanboys!

Bungie Counting Down to Something Big – New Halo?

A biiiiiiiiiiiig countdown has started on Bungie’s website and it’s looking like today, we finally get to see that game which was pulled from Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference.

Right now, the countdown stands at 2 hours, 5 minutes with the countdown stopping just after 3:00pm GMT specificlly at 3:07pm GMT which happens to be 7:07am PST, the time being Bungie’s favourite number 7.

It’s also saying stuff like “Pardon Our Dust, Final Notice: Past Bill Due, Services Will Resume” and more we bet.

Why though the countdown?

Super Thursday Starts Right Now!

You know what guys, let’s make this the best gaming day this year.

Yeah, there’s been April 29th for GTA IV, June 12th for MGS4 and July 14th for that megaton (the only megaton we’ve had so far this year, until today probably) that was Final Fantasy XIII.

But let’s make it official. Thursday September 25th 2008 is the best gaming day this year. Why?

- Burnout Paradise Trophies + Full Game on PS Store
- Mirror’s Edge Demo on PSN and XBLMP
- Wipeout HD Finally Released on the PSN
- Bungie’s New Halo

And they are all to come within the next 3 hours.

Sit tight ladies and gentleman, it’s gonna get messy!

Evans: Beta is Old Code, More Beta Codes Soon

So, you may have heard that last night, Eurogamer were giving away just under 6,000 beta codes for some big PLAYSTATION 3 game called LittleBigPlanet. You tried to get a code but you couldn’t, could you because the site pretty much killed itself because of the server demand for it.

And for any of the 5,800 who did get codes…well done and congrats.

But for any of you who didn’t get a code, I dedicate this sad face to you.
