Pigtails Girl Named at Last – Vanilla

nomchan1So last week, we had a blowout of info on Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII. New art, real time screenshots, new characters and new trailers.

But it seems that this blowout is still on going if you are either Shonen Jump or Famitsu.

New info was released in the new issue of Shonen Jump of Final Fantasy XIII (so far, it’s only FFXIII) showing off screenshots of real time gameplay but it’s not just them screenshots which have caused some big news, it’s the reveal of a characters name, to be specfic, the character known as Pigtails Girl/Nomchan.

Well, she’s known as them no more!

CONFIRMED: A New Metal Gear is… A New Metal Gear Solid for iPhone

Hideo Kojima announced at the VGA’s, speaking to 1up, that we would hear more about the mysterious new Metal Gear game which had the internet in a dizz last week, wondering what the hell it was that we would be seeing soon.

But Famitsu has jumped the gun, it seems that this new Metal Gear ISN’T a new Metal Gear or infact, a port of a Metal Gear game for the Xbox 360, it is infact a brand new spin-off to MGS4 but for the iPhone.

And now Konami has confirmed it along with the first two screens. The Famitsu scan is after the jump.

RUMOR: Metal Gear Solid 4 LittleBigPlanet Pack Coming Thursday

We knew Snake was coming to LittleBigPlanet since he was unveiled alongside a Sephiroth sackboy back at the Tokyo Games Show in October but now it seems, there maybe more coming then just Snake.

A leak has appeared on the Hong Kong PlayStation website which shows a LBP Metal Gear Solid 4 character and level pack coming this Thursday on the HK PS Store (it’s unconfirmed at this time if this will be worldwide)

In the character pack, you get Old Snake but you also get 3 other characters. Screaming Mantis, Meryl Silverburgh and Raiden in his ninja suit.

Just to let you guys know, we’re doing a special liveblog of the VGA’s from 00:00amGMT tonight.

The show doesn’t begin until 2:00amGMT properly but no matter when it starts, we can expect some pretty big announcements. In total, there are 11 announcements due but only 9 announcements are advertised with Uncharted 2, God of War III, Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned, Mafia II, Brutal Legend plus more to name a few so could we possibly see a megaton in the works tonight?

Join us from Midnight tonight when we find out.

Till then, board up your windows and hold tight, this could be a biggin.
