The debut trailer will premiere at the VGAs next weekend. The development team is led by ex-DICE alumni Sean Decker, Executive Producer Greg Goodrich and Senior Creative Director Rich Farrelly.
Battlefield devs DICE are handling the multiplayer side of things.

The demo will consist of the first level in the game, known as “The Gates of Hell.”
The demo will be releasing earlier though in the US, where the PS3 will get a timed exclusive on the demo from December 10th, while Xbox Live users will have to wait until Xmas Eve itself before getting their grubby mitts on it.
Producer for the game Jonathan Knight said: “The world of Alighieri’s Dante’s Inferno is such a rich, detailed, and often alarming universe, that all of us at Visceral Games put our hearts, and dare I say souls, into creating something truly intense and exciting.”

Rockstar’s just sent out a PR formally announcing that Red Dead Redemption will get a release in the US on April 27th and in the UK on April 30th. Rockstar president Sam Houser said in the PR that the game will be “a true epic.”
He said: “This is our vision of the American West: beautiful, bloody and action-packed.
“The game is a true epic, and has been developed with the same production values and attention to detail we put into all our projects.”
He went further on to say: “Red Dead Redemption represents another milestone for us in the development of open world games.”

The trailer gives the official release date, and it’ll be on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 27th in North America and April 30th in Europe.

THQ have today released 18 brand new shots of Metro 2033. Set in the shattered subway of a post apocalyptic Moscow, Metro 2033 is a brings together a combination of horror, survival, RPG, and shooting, and is based on cult novel Metro 2033 from Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky.

Ubisoft today announced that a new game in the Prince of Persia series is in development, titled The Forgotten Sands. This new instalment in the critically-acclaimed franchise marks the return to the Prince of Persia Sands of Time storyline and it will feature many of the fan-favourite elements from the original series as well as new gameplay innovations.
The game launches May 2010 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
