Forza 3

Forza Motorsport was, unsurprisingly, announced tonight at the Microsoft press conference tonight. Turn 10 came on the stage with a red Audi R8 behind them, followed up by a showreel of gameplay involving the Audi R8, with damage enabled.

This is how you do it Gran Turismo.

As well as that, T10 announced that there will be HD video available from the Forza community via a video editor that will be included in the game. We’re a little hazy after what happened, but if we remember correct, Fall was mentioned as a release date.

Kazunori, beat that. SCEA press conference tomorrow from 7pm BST, livetext from 6pm.

Left 4 Dead 2 is real and it’s out this November, November 17th to be specfic. The game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive, hence why it was announced at the Microsoft press conference tonight. We only managed to see the second half of the trailer due to technical difficulties, but chainsaws can now be used for the game.

And there is also daylight in the game, compared to the original’s nighttime routines.

Remedy Games showed off Alan Wake at the Microsoft press conference tonight, and truth be told, it looks fucking awesome. The bad news? Spring 2010, thats how long we now have to wait before we see the writer in action as Remedy also announced the Spring date for the game, although no specfic date was given.

It’s been a while since we heard of Mr. Wake, September last year infact, hopefully we’ll hear alot more of him now. The demo involved Wake trying to save a friend, while under attack from the darkness. You can use light, flashlights or flares to get them away.

crackdown

Crackdown 2 exists.

It was shown at the Microsoft press conference tonight. The trailer kicks off with the infamous orb sound followed then by a rooftop chase from your supersoldier chasing somebody. A bullet is then shot from the soldiers gun, but the sound the bullet casing makes while dropping to the ground is enough to stur something from underneath.

The trailer ends with a explosion and the game’s logo. It’s in development at Ruffian Games.

Kojima's Next

UPDATE: Press release and trailer added.

Original Story: We absolutely cant wrap our heads around this, seriously.

Hideo Kojima sneakingly and shockingly came on stage tonight at the Microsoft press conference to announce that Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming to Xbox 360. Kojima then showed off a 30 second teaser which contained stuff from the teaser site, but it did confirm that the ninja from that site was Raiden.

We need to wrap our heads around this, honest to god. Konami’s conference will be packed now to the rafters on Wednesday.

PR and trailer after the jump.
