The Konami press conference is taking place right now at E3 and a small but none the less a megaton just detonated. Hideo Kojima just took the stage at the conference to announce a brand new project that Kojima Productions will be overlooking: the much talked about Lords of Shadow, which in turn is actually a new Castlevania game.
Development is being handled by Mercuarystream and is being planned for a 2010 release on PLAYSTATION 3 and Xbox 360. A trailer was also shown during the event.

Famitsu has confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Rising is indeed coming to PLAYSTATION 3 as well as Xbox 360. It came as Rising was covered for the first time in the magazine through an interview with Hideo Kojima, though there arent any details as we know of, but absolutely no gameplay screens in the scans.
